我聽到一天使歌唱
仁慈憐憫和平
是這世界的解放

在新割的乾草上方

乾草堆顯得昏黃
我聽到個魔鬼詛咒
在石南和荊豆的上空
仁慈再不會存在

若大家一樣幸福
憐憫就不會再有
他咒得太陽落山
天空皺起了眉頭
大雨傾盆而下
澆遍新割的莊稼
苦難增添的乃是
和平憐憫仁慈
